                 Preheat oven to 300F(150C). Cut 1 - 3.5 ounce jar (3/4 cup) macadamia nuts into quarters. If the nuts are raw, roast them for 10 minutes at 300F(150C)until slightly brown.  |

| Sift together: | |
| 1 1/3 cups all-purpose flour 1/2 teaspoon baking powder 1/2 teaspoon salt  |

| Beat until creamy: | |
| 1/2 cup butter, softened 2/3 cup (130 grams)granulated sugar  |

Add and beat:  | 
          |
| 1 egg 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla   
             | 
          |
| Fold in flour to egg and butter mixture. Stir in white 
              chocolate and macadamia nuts. | 
          |
| 2 - 3 ounce bars white chocolate, cut into 
              1/2 inch pieces or white chocolate chips 1 - 3.5 ounce jar (3/4 cup) macadamia nuts

| Drop dough by tablespoonfuls 2 inches apart on a greased cookie sheet. Bake for 9 to 12 minutes or until light golden brown. Cool 1 minute. Remove from a cookie sheet | |
